Peoria Boat Club Membership
Membership has its advantages.
-
Member Obligations and Dues.
As more than just a marina, obligations of members include monthly dues, participation in three work days per year (or arranged make-up), maintenance of liability insurance for your boat(s), and a commitment to helping fellow boaters in a spirit of community. Dues are $125 per month, making PBC the best value on the river.
-
Dock and Slips.
Peoria Boat Club offers members one of our 36 slips in the concrete, floating, fendered dock. The slip includes electricity and a water source for a garden hose. Clubhouse high speed wifi signal reaches the slips. On-dock pump out is available. Members may also attach an approved jet ski dock to their slip.
-
Clubhouse.
The clubhouse offers a climate controlled space with bathrooms, showers, a kitchen, WiFi, a porch, an ice machine, and ample room for gatherings.
-
Boat Ramp.
The long boat ramp affords access to the harbor in high or low river levels.
-
Harbor.
The Peoria Boat Club dock and facilities are located at mile marker 163.7 on the south side of the Detweiler Marina, a fully protected marina with year-round access to the Illinois River channel.
-
Storage.
Peoria Boat Club offers space to store your boat over winter within the gated perimeter. Each membership also comes with a large locker within the storage shed.
-
Security.
Peoria Boat Club facilities are secured by a perimeter fence with keypad-operate4d gate and monitored with video cameras. Additional keypad locked barriers secure the clubhouse, storage shed, and the docks.
-
Club Tools.
Tools owned by the club for on-site use by members include a power washer, hand tools, a skid, and other tools.
