Budget Committee

The budget committee develops a budget for the upcoming year. The treasurer should pick two additional members to form the committee. Officers need to be questioned regarding any foreseeable special or unusual expenditures needed for the new year. Then a basic budget is developed based on these necessities and normal past spending. We start meeting in December to review and make changes. The new budget should be presented to the membership at the January meeting.

Docks and Harbor Committee

Purpose: maintain docks and harbor related equipment and water/electrical lines, replace dock slips if necessary, maintain fresh water and pump out lines, report water meter readings periodically to treasurer for sewer water credit, maintain pump out machine and lubricate pump out hose annually, winterize dock at the end of season, winterizing involved both fresh water and pump out line, help treasurer for electrical meter readings. make sure all electrical lines from member boat to electrical post is not touching water, nor their boats are touching dock water/sewer/electrical pipes
